Climate Movement Event!

Thank you to everyone who attended our latke-making event at Central Synagogue on the evening of December 18th. In addition to coming together in celebration and community, participants wrote and decorated 15 postcards addressed to companies that continue to insure non-renewable energy corporations while failing to adequately insure communities affected by climate-related disasters. This action was part of our collaboration with the Jewish Youth Climate Movement (JYCM) and its #UnderwriteEarth campaign, which calls on the insurance industry to take greater responsibility in addressing the climate crisis. We are grateful to JYCM for their partnership and to all who helped turn a joyful gathering into a moment of meaningful advocacy!
