9/26 Event!

On September 26th, the Agápe Project came together for the first time in the 2026-2027 school year for a meaningful day of service and learning in support of students at the Mercy Center in the Bronx! Together, we packed around 45 backpacks filled with school supplies, folders, snacks, and other essentials for elementary school students. We also decorated pencil cases and added personal touches to the backpacks, creating something special for each student while helping them feel prepared and supported.

We also had the opportunity to learn about Sukkot and its traditions, including the significance of the lulav and etrog. We were grateful to learn from members of the Jewish community and see these traditions practiced firsthand. The experience reminded us of the importance of learning from one another and finding opportunities to serve our communities.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered and helped make this event possible! We are so grateful for the opportunity to give back, learn, and grow together through Agápe.
