Potluck Event!

At the Agápe Project potluck event last Sunday, we gathered to celebrate the power of food as a bridge between cultures. Agape members brought dishes from around the world (Armenian manti, Middle Eastern kanafeh, French crêpes, and more) creating a shared table that honored diverse culinary traditions. We then talked about what we learned while cooking and the significance of each dish to one's culture/faith. After the meal, we brought leftovers to Grassroots Grocery's community fridge on 92nd street. We will share our remaining copies of our Cook Book at our next event, so stay tuned!
